YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contributing to strategic programs and projects on behalf of the Executive Board and senior management 
  • Independently conducting market, competitive and trend analyses to inform decision-making documents 
  • Continuously updating the strategic overview (competitor profiles, technology radar, market data)
  • Independently handling clearly defined work packages in strategy projects with agreed deliverables and milestones 
  • Sourcing and processing secondary sources (annual reports, databases) to produce reliable analysis results, including AI-supported research
  • Preparation and follow-up of workshops and stakeholder interviews, including structured documentation of results and tracking of agreed actions
  • Coordination with internal contacts (Finance, Controlling, Business Units) and management of project-related activities 
  • Contribution to board presentations and executive briefings / strategy documents for the supervisory board and capital markets under the guidance of a manager
  • Supporting M&A analyses through initial evaluation of acquisition candidates and market position analyses
  • Maintaining the strategy knowledge repository (analysis templates, methodology templates, market databases

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • You hold an excellent university degree (Master’s/MBA/PhD), preferably in engineering or economics
  • You have some professional experience, preferably at a leading strategy consultancy, an investment bank or a related corporate function
  • You are proficient in standard strategy and analysis methods, use AI applications (e.g. AI-supported research) confidently and purposefully, and possess strong project management skills
  • You are distinguished by excellent analytical skills, a structured way of thinking, high standards of quality and a proactive approach
  • You work successfully as part of a team, building on collaboration and trusting relationships
  • You are experienced in dealing with stakeholders at all levels and able to present results appropriately for a top management audience
  • You have a strong affinity for technical products and markets
