JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Facilities Custodian is responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the building. 

Essential Functions:

•  Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment and ensure the compliance with company's rules and policies.
•  Must be able to comply with quality, product safety, and HSE rules, guidelines and regulations.  Be energy conscious, if applicable.
•  Must understand and comply with applicable standards. ( i.e.: ISO 9001, ISO 22163, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, AAR, and CMMI).
•  Maintain and safeguard business records.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

 Additional Essential Functions:  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
2. Empty all trash receptacles in all areas, conference rooms, offices and kitchens/breakrooms.
3. Daily clean and resupply restrooms.
4. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or office cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
5. Required to assist with maintenance tasks to include, maintain lawns and shrubbery, using hand and power tools, occasional light painting, monthly visual checks of equipment, etc.
6.  Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables and chairs to prepare facilities for events.
7. Clean all kitchen areas with appropriate cleaning materials, removing spillage, food and soil including counters, microwaves, and refrigerators.
8.  Spot cleaning fingerprints and smudges from glass and walls.
9.  Carry a company supplied radio and be available as needed for on-call tasks
10.  Report any observed needed repairs or maintenance to supervisor.
11.  Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Technical Competencies:  
Able to obtain and interpret SDS / MSDS safety information and cleaning product application practices

Required Education

High School Diploma/GED
