The Sales Manager for OE Freight implements sales policies, and manages regional or local sales strategies for N. American OE Freight market, to achieve defined strategic commercial targets


Essential Functions

  • Direct sales efforts to achieve OEM freight sales to meet NYAB Sales goals and objectives.
  • Develop marketing strategies and plans, manage the team’s sales priorities to meet NYAB/Knorr goals and objectives.
  • Accumulate accurate, timely information on pricing, customer needs, marketing opportunities and historical data.
  • Communicate with manufacturing, engineering, field sales and other department functions on production planning.
  • Preparation of carset and dollar booking, billing and shipping forecasts.
  • Monitor market share for OEM product line.
  • Prepare customers quotations with documentation, bills of materials and formal correspondence.
  • Provide customer service duties including expediting, problem resolutions, and frequent support to customers and field sales.
  • Review all OEM equipment orders regarding price, cost delivery, piece part detail through to customer receipt.
  • Must understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
  • Must understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
  • Must understand, support and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions.
  • Must understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree.

This position has <5 direct personnel.


Work Environment
The employee will be required to perform duties on a computer terminal. The employee may be exposed to shop floor conditions, i.e. noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt etc.
