JOB DESCRIPTION:

Internships have a lasting impact on our team at New York Air Brake! The summer internship program for students actively enrolled into their program provides the opportunity to make big contributions that help us deliver advanced freight rail braking solutions now and in the future. You will work individually and as part of a project team while receiving regular feedback in preparation for a final presentation to company leaders.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • The focus of this internship will be assisting the Project Management team in supporting projects, software management, process development, and documentation creation.
  • Create and manage project schedules using Microsoft Project
  • Work closely with Project Managers, SCRUM Teams, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project Management teams.
  • Project Administration within Jira

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong MS Office Skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong written communication skills
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
  •  

Education:

Degree: Business Administration, Project Management, or related

Minimum Year: Junior with a minimum GPA of 3.0

PAY: The anticipated wage scale for candidates who will work in Maryland, New York or remote is $18.00 to $22.00/per hour. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will depend on their class year.
