JOB DESCRIPTION:

Essential Functions

• Support the design of Mechanical Components.
• Support testing of new products based on product requirements.
• 3D CAD Drafting of components and products.
• Conduct Analysis of tolerances, simple stress/strain, statics, dynamics, heat transfer, etc.

Skills and Competencies

• Basic materials knowledge
• Basic machine design
• Drafting
• Familiar with 3D CAD software (NX/Creo)
• Hands on experience
• Problem solving skills,
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education:

Degree: Mechanical Engineering,  Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related with a 3.0 or higher

Note: The anticipated wage scale for candidates who will work in Watertown, New York or remote is $16.00 to $25.00/per hour. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will depend on their class year/status.
