Perform all duties associated with quality inspection and calibration for the site. Use measuring devices to examine parts, purchased and manufactured, for accuracy and workmanship per engineering specifications. Manage non-conforming material including physical moves, system transactions, and required notifications. Perform various audits in work cells and the warehouse. Review and document returned material from customers including all physical moves and system transactions. Perform basic calibration and work with outside calibration suppliers as needed. Inspection-Calibration personnel will help identify any safety hazards in the workplace and strive to attain zero defects. Actively participate in Tier I and Tier II Lean Daily Management activities and as a member of continuous improvement teams.

- Understand and use various tools and measuring devices to evaluate the quality of parts per applicable specifications (variable gauges, attributer gauges, SPC gauges, etc.)
- Perform inspection of incoming materials and release these for use when they meet specifications
- Demonstrate working knowledge of SAP as required to process quality transactions
- Strive to maintain proper 5S targets
- Be able to drive powered lift vehicles including electric pallet jack

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
The employee will be exposed to shop floor conditions, i.e. noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt etc. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
