Supplier Development Engineer

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering.
- More than 5 years’ experience in the field of supplier quality control.
- Deep knowledge of quality problem solving.
- Deep knowledge of production/inspection/testing/supplier management in at least one of following areas: surface treatment, PCB assembly, welding, casting, rubbers/plastics, springs, or other electrical /mechanical parts and components (standard parts, solenoid valves, motors, etc.)
- VDA 6.3 qualified certification is preferred.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assess/audit potential suppliers based on KB criteria.
- Collaborate with cross functional team (Purchasing, Quality Management, Engineering, etc.) to initiate FAI projects and define FAI qualification programs.
- Coordinate and manage FAI projects in terms of progress, resource, sample production, validation, and release.
- Lead/support investigations into quality issues, facilitate development of corrective and preventive actions, track actions and confirm effectiveness.
- Lead/support activities and projects collaborated with suppliers (NPI, CIP, VA/VE, etc.).
- Lead/support supplier management tasks (training/improvement, risk/performance assessment, annual audit, etc.)
- Other tasks assigned by supervisor.
