JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description

1. Analyze, evaluate and contract suppliers with evident potiential for significant synergies among the Asia Pacific locations for particular categories of indirect materials (Logistics, Packaging, MRO, Investment etc.)
2. Build up a reliable and cost effective supply base.
3. Implement diligently material purchase processes in the related locations of KB Asia-Pacific region.
4. Act as project manager for regional or global strategic purchasing projects.
5. Regional bidding and price negotiation
6. Substantial yearly savings
7. Performace improvement of local suppliers
8. Market research
Qualifications: 
1. Min 8 years in purchasing area, experience in Rail or automobile is preferred
2. Strong analytical skill and deductive thinking (cause/effect)
3. Rich knowledge on areas of logistics management, packaging, MRO, investment
4. Experienced in supplier identification, qualification, contracting
5. Demonstrated ability of desicion making. Used to work independently but align with supplier and team.
6. Active work exposure in corporate projects and communications in multi-national group
7. Presentation skill, powerpoint proficiency
8. Practical work experience with SAP, high skill in Excel
