JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Test Engineer provides Test and Technical support to ensure that customers get high-quality, functional products. Design, source, build and qualify production test specifications and equipment. Support product production testing by setting up the test cells then working with technicians to execute testing on products before they are put into manufacturing. Collaborate at various levels to solve difficult issues with test methods and unit under test. Some testing may be during the production development phase working closely with engineering.

  • Sourcing and building test fixtures.
  • Running Tests.
  • Organizing and reviewing test data.
  • Writing test reports and procedures.
  • Support product development.
  • Support quality improvement teams.
  • Support cost reduction teams.

 

Skills and Competencies

  • Capable of reading drawings.
  • Understands basic instrumentation, including Data Acquisition.
  • Understands basic technician/mechanic skills, use of tools, etc.
  • Understands imperial and metric units of measure.
  • Capable of technical writing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point

 

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or other related Engineering

>6 months -3 Years of Relevant Experience (Internship or co-op experence will be considered)

 

Preferred:

Exposure to LABVIEW
