Position Title

CCBII (Production) Technician I

 

 

Reports to


Production Supervisor

 

 

Summary/Objective

Semi-sSkilled assembly of various pneumatic and mechanical valves, electrical / electronic boards, and components; using a variety of hand and power tools, electrical test racks / devices, fixtures, work instructions, assembly drawings and test equipment. Need the ability to follow detailed work instructions and perform a series of operations to correctly assemble and test applicable these valves and electrical components.

  1. Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
  2. Ability to troubleshoot and repair failures as needed.
  3. Report problems with quality, safety, process, equipment, and materials to Production Supervisor and/or Team Lead.
  4. Provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed.Basic Responsibilities: Support extrusion and calendar; operate mill, bias machine, wrapper, autoclave, pulldown machine and saw; assembly of hose tube, cover, and friction; assembly, fit, test (M601 & M618 hose); and final inspection.
  5. Maintains a clean and organized work area.
  6. Assist and train others as needed.
  7. Must understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
  8. Must understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
  9. Must understand, support, and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures, and instructions.
  10. Must understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree.
  11. Be a team player and engage with others.

 

 

Skills and Competencies

 

  1. Technical Capacity
    • Ability to read and comprehend written procedures and assembly blueprints.
    • Ability to access drawings,  and procedures and record information via computer.
  • Familiar with compuAbility to read assembly blueprintsMust have good mechanical skills
    • Must have ability to assemble / build electrical / electronic components.
    • Familiar with lean manufacturing tools a plus
    • Must understand safety policies and rules.

    • Must have good communication skills to interface with employees, production supervisor, and Leadership Team.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Work Environment:

The employee will be exposed to shop floor conditions, i.e. noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt etc.  The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 and can operate lift assist equipment to move assemblies.

Required Education and Experience

 

  1. High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  2. One to two years of related manufacturing experience (preferred)
