Service Operations Manager (f/m/d)

As a Service Operations Manager, you will lead service operations at our new site, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality processes. You’ll manage and support the team, drive key operational KPIs, coordinate with stakeholders, and contribute to the successful transfer of production to the Polish facility.
Your responsibilities:
- driving service operations to achieve key goals related to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and budget,
- actively participating in the transfer of production to the Polish facility and contributing to the development of new operational standards,
- ensuring efficient, timely, and cost effective service processes,
- planning personnel capacity and managing service schedules,
- collaborating with managers and stakeholders to define objectives and understand service requirements,
- estimating costs and preparing the annual budget,
- leading and coordinating the team by defining responsibilities, ensuring effective communication, supporting and coaching employees, and following up on individual performance,
- implementing the Knorr Production System,
- taking ownership of key KPIs such as Delivery Performance, Throughput Time, Backlog, and Productivity.
Our requirements:
- higher education – preferably in automation technology or mechanical engineering,
- 5 or more years of experience in service or manufacturing management (experience in railway technology is an advantage),
- MS Office modules (especially very good Excel knowledge),
- experience in SAP will be a strong asset,
- English language skills enable smooth communication is a must,
- excellent organizational and leaderships skills,
- strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach,
- ability to identify problems, options to resolve and propose solutions.
