Industrial Engineering Project Manager

Your responsibilities:

  • providing daily support to production lines and participating in problem solving,
  • technological preparation of the production lines in all its aspects - technology, preparation of documentation, process, tools, etc.,
  • continuous analysis of existing processes to improve their effectiveness and efficiency,
  • organization and implementation of service and repair processes and technologies for new products,
  • implementation of Lean principles based on KPS (Knorr Production System),
  • adaptation and implementation of global processes in the service area according to Knorr-Bremse standards,
  • keeping track of the progress of the project and taking corrective action if necessary,
  • collaboration with other managers and leaders to formulate objectives and understand production requirements,
  • organization and supervision of the proper functioning of machines and equipment in the service center, implementation of TPM principles,
  • technical handling of the procurement and investment process in terms of identifying needs and defining technical specifications,
  • identifying, managing and mitigating project risks,
  • update and manage all systems required for the project.

Our requirements:

  • higher education - preferably in engineering,
  • at least 5 years of experience in industrial environment on similar scope of duties,
  • proficient level of English,
  • MS Office modules (good Excel knowledge would be a strong plus),
  • knowledge of ERP master data: materials, routings, BOMs, etc.,
  • excellent organizational and a results-driven approach,
  • ability to identify problems, options to resolve and propose solutions,
  • great communication skills and hands-on attitude,
  • experience in SAP will be a strong asset.
