Knorr-Bremse India Private Limited is a 100% subsidiary of Knorr-Bremse AG Germany which is more than 110 years old Company and world's leading manufacturer of braking systems for Rail and Commercial vehicles. Knorr-Bremse started its operation in India in 1993 and relocated to Palwal location in 2013, which is set up to cater to the growing demand in the Indian market.
Knorr-Bremse has built a state of the art manufacturing facility spread over 17 Acres of land situated at 51/4 KM stone at main Mathura Road near Palwal. With optimized plant logistics and an improved working environment for employees, the new facility was built with an eye on maintaining the ecological balance. The plant conforms to Green building norms with energy-efficient air-conditioning and a high level of insulation. This helps reduce its carbon footprint, which the company considers a part of its environment sustainability.
Perform the safety related system level tasks, gathering the inputs, Reviews Understanding of safety related issues in electronic product/system/architecture Participating in the change management process, Safety related process and improvements Coordination and support to safety manager Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant departments in the organization. Communication with counterparts and update the info locally Enhance awareness about safety practices amongst cross functional developers
9+ years of work experience with embedded architecture/ safety critical product development (HW and System) Awareness of safety standards (IEC 61508) or equivalent (EN standards for Railway function safety is preferred) Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills. Awareness of HW failures and its impact on overall system and safety process Understanding of safety related hazards and risk analysis (FMEA, FTA) Understanding of security threat and risk analysis Experience to work in Railway domain Excellent written, oral Communication skills
