Knorr-Bremse India Private Limited is a 100% subsidiary of Knorr-Bremse AG Germany which is more than 110 years old Company and world's leading manufacturer of braking systems for Rail and Commercial vehicles. Knorr-Bremse started its operation in India in 1993 and relocated to Palwal location in 2013, which is set up to cater to the growing demand in the Indian market. 

Knorr-Bremse has built a state of the art manufacturing facility spread over 17 Acres of land situated at 51/4 KM stone at main Mathura Road near Palwal. With optimized plant logistics and an improved working environment for employees, the new facility was built with an eye on maintaining the ecological balance. The plant conforms to Green building norms with energy-efficient air-conditioning and a high level of insulation. This helps reduce its carbon footprint, which the company considers a part of its environment sustainability.

Desired Qualification and Experience

Must have BE or equivalent in Electronics Engineering with 7 to 10 years of experience with below skill sets:

• Strong understanding about Electronics and Printed Circuit Board.
• Must have experience of flat / hierarchical schematic drafting and Net class based constraint management.
• Must have experience of mixed signal and high speed multilayer PCB design.
• Must have experience of schematic symbols and component footprints.
• Must have experience on differential, Controlled Impedance, DDR memory, Power signal routing.
• Good understanding about international PCB standards like IPC, IEC, EN and DFM/DFT.
• Understanding of PCBA manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Knowledge of PCB guidelines for EMI/EMC compliance design, power supply design.
• Experience with PLM tool for New part creation, ECO/ECR creation and update documentation.
• Knowledge of Scripting language for ECAD tools.
• Knowledge of Signal Integrity, Power Integrity and Thermal analysis
• Knowledge of board level 3D modelling.
• Knowledge of Library management.
• Knowledge about Library management and PCB design processes.
• Preferred to have experience with Mentor Dxdesigner, Expedition.
• Fluency in English language (written and verbal)

Job/Task Description:

        Draft Schematic as per inputs from designer.

        Prepare PCB layout as per inputs and guidelines.

        Prepare documentation for PCB manufacturing and board assembly.

        Create electronics parts in Global Central Library -Symbol, footprint as per IEEE/ANSI/IEC/IPC standards.

        Review PCB layout and library parts created by other team members.

        Release library parts in Global central library in Mentor EDM Tool.

        Create & Review Component datasheets/ Drawings.

        Support for PLM activities ECO/ECR, documentation update.

        Resolve internal and external PCB design and library part queries.

        Support for building process definition and documentation for PCB design and ECAD library management.

        Apply different techniques/ knowledge to reduce part turnaround time.

        Perform RCA in case of defects in PCB Design / library part.

        Take full responsibility of PCB design and Library part creation.

        Assign and oversee the completion of daily library tasks as per timelines.

        Take part in daily/weekly internal status meetings or with global counterparts.
