Knorr-Bremse India Private Limited is a 100% subsidiary of Knorr-Bremse AG Germany which is more than 110 years old Company and world's leading manufacturer of braking systems for Rail and Commercial vehicles. Knorr-Bremse started its operation in India in 1993 and relocated to Palwal location in 2013, which is set up to cater to the growing demand in the Indian market. 

Knorr-Bremse has built a state of the art manufacturing facility spread over 17 Acres of land situated at 51/4 KM stone at main Mathura Road near Palwal. With optimized plant logistics and an improved working environment for employees, the new facility was built with an eye on maintaining the ecological balance. The plant conforms to Green building norms with energy-efficient air-conditioning and a high level of insulation. This helps reduce its carbon footprint, which the company considers a part of its environment sustainability.

Software Engineer – Intern

We are looking for Software Engineer to intern in our Wayside Intelligence Team. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about technology in general and is proactively driven to understand how everything works. You will be working with a lean agile team of engineers each possessing diverse skill set with a focus area who contributes to different parts of stack when required.

Responsibilities
• Implement and test Wayside Intelligence Software Services.
• Support updates to server-side logic and REST APIs.
• Thorough testing to identify and fix bugs.
• Work closely with team to develop fast and iterate quickly.
• Contribute to other parts of stack when necessary.

Must Have Skills
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with general purpose programming languages (Python or Go)
• General knowledge of front-end software (HTML, JavaScript, CSS and React, or Angular)
• General knowledge about BDD and Python to write automated tests.
• General exposure to Linux Development Environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Education and Qualification
• Pursuing BE/BTech or MS/ME/MTech preferably in Computer Science
