Job Role Description
• Lead the implementation of the reporting processes and process improvements that are
defined by the Global Process Responsible (GPR) organization within GBS operations.
• Build up strong relationship with Regional BPO Controlling, support locations with
technical system issues
• Act as a subject matter expert in R2R operations, ensuring compliance with IFRS,
GAAP, and local regulations
• Coordinate monthly closing and financial planning processes (outlook, forecast, budget)
in the region in strong alignment with divisional and local finance heads as well as GBS
(Global Business Services) offices.
• Ensure the proper financial reporting, according to the agreed policies. Ensure high
data quality for consolidation in reporting systems for actuals (SEM-BCS, GMR, PPRT,
OLAP, BIIP, R2C, Wave, etc.).
• Build up deep knowledge and understanding over all reporting systems, interfaces and
interdependencies
• Own and manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely
financial reporting. Oversee creation of regular standard reports for different
stakeholder in- and outside the region. Create special ad-hoc management reports for
regional management on demand.
• Capex coordinator for the region, collect details and provide information to the regional
board for approval, collect signatures.
• Coordinate creation of new and deletion of existing company codes, align with HQ,
regional controllers, and locations.
• Support P&L segmentation of locations for transfer pricing purposes.
• Ensure all internal controls are in place, to better manage financial risks. Support
external audits.
• Identify synergies across serviced processes to drive efficiencies, and automation
deployment. Identification of required IT tools and processes optimization and align with
global process responsible.
• Drive continuous improvement of service delivery and service portfolio within the GBS
organization. Ensures seamless transition of processes from all regional sites to GBS.
• GBS responsibility for the implementation of services and operational service fulfillment
(quality, costs and delivery) through KPIs/SLAs.

• Drive Reporting factory in India.
• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments to ensure financial
statement accuracy.
• Ensure timely balance sheet reconciliations, investigating variances and ensuring
corrective actions.
• Manage intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reporting for consolidated
financial statements.
• Collaborate with external auditors and support audit requirements.
• Provide insights on financial data and support decision-making processes.

Profile
• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA, ACCA, CA or MBA is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in R2R/General Ledger Accounting, with at least 5 years in a
leadership role. Experience in Shared Services (GBS/ GCC)
• Solid knowledge of finance and management reporting IT systems and SAP R3/S4
• Accounting excellence, Strong knowledge of IFRS, and local accounting principles,
End to End Record to Report Experience
• Experience in transition, migration, standardization of processes and process
improvement methodologies, LEAN Sigma,
• Excellent project management skills and ability of setting priorities in complex
environment
• Operational knowledge of controlling and reporting processes, regional differences, and
leading practices.
• Excellent communicator, fluency in English, high with the ability to proficiently convey
concepts to management, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders, intercultural
sensitivity
• Ability to manage upwards, work independently and have a service delivery mind-set.
• Business fluent in English (German nice to have)
