Knorr-Bremse started its operation in India in 1993 and relocated to Palwal location in 2013, which is set up to cater to the growing demand in the Indian market.
Knorr-Bremse has built a state of the art manufacturing facility spread over 17 Acres of land situated at 51/4 KM stone at main Mathura Road near Palwal. With optimized plant logistics and an improved working environment for employees, the new facility was built with an eye on maintaining the ecological balance. The plant conforms to Green building norms with energy-efficient air-conditioning and a high level of insulation. This helps reduce its carbon footprint, which the company considers a part of its environment sustainability.
Job Description for C#/.NET Engineering Intern
Location: [Pune, Maharashtra]
Job Type: Intern (Part-time)
Duration: [3-6 months]
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications using C# and .NET technologies.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Collaborate with team members to design, implement, and test new features and enhancements.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues and defects in existing software applications.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality coding standards and best practices.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation, potentially using tools like Git for version control.
- Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field).
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of C# programming language and understanding of the .NET framework (or .NET Core), WPF.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Familiarity with database concepts and knowledge of SQL (SQL Server preferred).
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git, is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and a positive attitude toward challenges.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
