Knorr-Bremse India Private Limited is a 100% subsidiary of Knorr-Bremse AG Germany which is more than 110 years old Company and world's leading manufacturer of braking systems for Rail and Commercial vehicles. Knorr-Bremse started its operation in India in 1993 and relocated to Palwal location in 2013, which is set up to cater to the growing demand in the Indian market.
Knorr-Bremse has built a state of the art manufacturing facility spread over 17 Acres of land situated at 51/4 KM stone at main Mathura Road near Palwal. With optimized plant logistics and an improved working environment for employees, the new facility was built with an eye on maintaining the ecological balance. The plant conforms to Green building norms with energy-efficient air-conditioning and a high level of insulation. This helps reduce its carbon footprint, which the company considers a part of its environment sustainability.
We are looking for a motivated Software Testing Intern with solid testing fundamentals and a strong interest in automation testing. The intern should have basic programming knowledge in Core Java and TypeScript, along with a willingness to learn modern QA tools and practices.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand software requirements and create test scenarios/test casesExecute manual test cases and report defects accuratelyAssist in automation testing using TypeScriptExecute automated test suites and analyze resultsCollaborate with QA and development teams in Agile setupSkill RequirementsMandatory:Knowledge of software testing basics (SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle)Core Java fundamentals (OOP concepts)TypeScript basics (functions, conditions, async fundamentals)Strong analytical and learning mindsetPreferred:Exposure to automation tools (Playwright / Selenium / Cypress)Basic Git/GitHub knowledgeAwareness of API testing or CI/CD conceptsEligibility CriteriaBE / BTech / MCA students (CS, IT)Final-year students or fresh graduatesNo active backlogs at the time of joining
