Knorr-Bremse India Private Limited is a 100% subsidiary of Knorr-Bremse AG Germany which is more than 110 years old Company and world's leading manufacturer of braking systems for Rail and Commercial vehicles. Knorr-Bremse started its operation in India in 1993 and relocated to Palwal location in 2013, which is set up to cater to the growing demand in the Indian market. 

Knorr-Bremse has built a state of the art manufacturing facility spread over 17 Acres of land situated at 51/4 KM stone at main Mathura Road near Palwal. With optimized plant logistics and an improved working environment for employees, the new facility was built with an eye on maintaining the ecological balance. The plant conforms to Green building norms with energy-efficient air-conditioning and a high level of insulation. This helps reduce its carbon footprint, which the company considers a part of its environment sustainability.

Desired Qualification and Experience

  • Must have BE or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineeringor a related field with 1-3 years of experience with below skillsets: 

  • Must have experience to review engineering drawings and 3DCAD models of the product.

  • Good understanding of assembly structures and partfunctionality.

  • Good Understanding on how parts are assembled and how theyfunction.

  • Experience working with PLM systems (e.g., PTC Windchill).

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Very good English communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Good working knowledge of German is an advantage.

  • Hands-on experience with 3D modelling software such as:

  • Creo Parametric (preferred)

  • CATIA

  • Solid Edge

  • IDEAS

 

Job/Task Description

  •  Create and update Spare Parts Catalogues / Illustrated Parts Catalogues(IPCs) using technical drawings and 3D models.

  • Generate exploded views and isometric illustrations to visually representassemblies.

  • Read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings, including symbols,tolerances, dimensions, and materials.

  • Use drawings and models to identify parts and assemblies for cataloguing.

  • Collaborate with design engineers, documentation teams, and servicedepartments.

  • Respond to feedback and requests from internal customers.

  • Document changes and communicate clearly with international teams,especially the central documentation group in Budapest.

  • Maintain a reliable and precise approach to work.

  • Apply analytical thinking and creativity to improve documentation quality andusability.
