JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute HIL-based test cases for embedded ECUs in the Steering, Braking, and ADAS domains.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Python, CAPL, EXAM, or AutomationDesk.
- Configure and operate HIL platforms like dSPACE, Vector VT System to simulate vehicle behaviour and perform real-time testing.
- Simulate road loads, sensor inputs (e.g., radar, camera, ultrasonic), and actuator feedback for realistic test conditions in ADAS systems.
- Implement failure injection, diagnostics validation, and safety monitoring per ISO 26262 standards.
- Ensure traceability of test cases with system and software requirements using PTC Integrity or IBM Jazz platform (DOORS NG, RTC, RQM).
- Analyse test results, report defects, and collaborate with development and functional safety teams for issue resolution.
- Contribute to the development of a robust test strategy aligned with ASPICE and project requirements. Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automotive, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- 3 to 8 years of experience in automotive domain HIL testing, with exposure to Steering, Braking, or ADAS ECUs.
- Proficient in HIL tools (e.g., dSPACE Scalexio, Vector VT System) and test execution.
- Strong scripting ability in Python, CAPL, or MATLAB for test automation.
- Familiarity with vehicle bus protocols (CAN, CAN FD, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet).
- Experience with test management tools such as PTC Integrity and/or IBM Jazz suite (DOORS NG, RQM, RTC).
- Good understanding of ISO 26262, ASPICE, and V-cycle development methodology.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience testing Steer-by-wire, ABS/ESC, electronic braking systems, lane-keeping, adaptive cruise
control, or AEB/FCW systems.
- Exposure to sensor fusion testing or camera/radar simulation.
- Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, ECU-TEST, vTESTstudio, or AutomationDesk.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
- ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent qualification.
