JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Description
R&D - Hardware Engineer is responsible for,
- Design and develop efficient and cost-effective hardware design solution for automotive application.
- Defect free hardware deliverables
- Setting up the task and direction to the junior engineers.
- Training and guiding team for technical solution.
- Hardware Technical release
- Defining and planning test strategies.
- Technical interaction with internal and external customers.
Experience and skills
- Experience in hardware design and development in automotive domain.
- Very strong circuit design and layout know how for analog and digital circuit
- Very good experience in EMI failure root cause analysis
- Practical experience with high current MOSFET circuits.
- Should be aware about functional safety concept.
- Experience in electromagnetic compliant (EMI/EMC) circuit design and Testing.
- Knowledge of schematic capture tools like Cadstar, Orcad, Mentor Graphics DxDesigner.
- Experience in circuit simulation tools like Pspice, LTspice etc.
- Should be able to do the board bring-up, test hardware as per the test plan, debug the board & resolve issues in the board.
- Should be able to make hardware design document, BOM, create test reports.
- Should be a good team player and can work independently on assignments.
- Experience in working with cross functional team and global locations.
- Experience in creating DFMEA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualification:
B.E. B.Tech, M.E., M.Tech (Power Electronics/ Electronics)
Experience:
2 to 5 years of experience in Automotive domain
