TASKS:

  • Leading of the architecture development team for electronic control devices 
  • Responsibility for defining and describing architectures for electronic hardware and software
  • Coordinate requirements with system development and product management
  • Architecture modeling for electronic control components
  • Coordinate design guidelines for electronic control components with the international Knorr-Bremse development teams and other internal and external experts
  • Execute initial estimates and calculations (e.g. for computing power and memory sizes, transmission rates, power supply, FMEA/FMEDA etc.)

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Studies in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable field of study
  • Several years of professional experience in the fields of electronics development and/or embedded software development
  • First leadership experience
  • Well-founded knowledge of common development methods, especially in the area of safety-critical controls >= SIL2
  • Knowledge of hardware and software development and system modeling (e.g. SysML)
  • Proficient in German and English
  • Strong communication skills, strategic thinking, determination, resilience, structured way of working, authentic and open demeanor
