Specialist Software Engineering (m/f/d)

TASKS:
- Works with multiple agile teams - offshore and nearshore - and helps them to improve product quality and increase productivity in the development of web and cloud applications, data analytics, and infrastructure
- Works closely with multiple stakeholders, such as team managers, architects, product managers, UX and DevOps engineers
- Finds and evaluates new emerging technologies, tools and frameworks. Helps the teams with the introduction and implementation
- Evaluates and integrates software from 3rd party vendors
- Hands on work is necessary and expected to some extent
- Consults the upper management
REQUIREMENTS:
- Masters the design, development and operation of high-availability and large-scale (Java-based) systems, ideally multilingual using Python, C++ etc.
- Second Proficiency either in frontend development, or DevOps,
- Experience leading a team of software engineers without formal team lead role
- Excellent knowledge of databases and data processing
- Ten years of intensive and progressive experience in software development, including five years in the development of SOA and microservice-based enterprise systems
- Fluent English is a must
