YOUR TASKS

  • Lead Due Diligence (DD) phase for new acquisitions by analyzing IT architecture, applications, security, and integration topics with focus on business applications
  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and lead Post Merger Integration (PMI) projects of new acquisitions in the IT applications area and implement the agreed results and deliverables in time, cost, and quality in an international environment
  • Moderate the integration between new companies and Knorr-Bremse IT & business departments
  • Plan & coordinate the IT-related aspects of divestitures (carve out projects)
  • Define standards & methods for the IT due diligence and integration process to strengthen collaboration and continuous improvement within the global DD/PMI team
  • Central contact within the IT organization for the integration of new acquisitions into the Knorr-Bremse standard IT processes & applications

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or other related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in managing ERP / PLM processes as well as experience as project lead / architect for at least 2-3 projects in the area of ERP / PLM
  • Experience with Due Diligence activities preferred
  • In-depth understanding of business applications and processes
  • Experience in working with international, cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Hands-on experience in project methodologies (e.g. PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2)
  • Results oriented with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks
  • Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally
