Hardware Engineering Expert (m/f/d)

TASKS:
- Works with multiple teams to design, develop, test and manufacture (safety critical) software/hardware integrated systems
- Defines the system architecture, including data storage, vehicle and cloud interface, power modes, messaging and data delivery, cellular connection management, etc.
- Works with product management to break down user stories into technical specifications
- Organizes and leads design reviews with the engineering teams
- Researchs and evaluates new technologies and tools. Helps the teams with adoption and implementation
- Owns the electrical and mechanical interfaces
- Consults the upper management
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10 years of practical experience as a developer of embedded hardware and periphery
- Proven experience and Know-how with IoT Edge Device development connected to cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google)
- Experience incorporating hardware-based security techniques (Hardware Security modules, TrustZone, Secure Boot, etc) into a robust hardware/software system design
- Experience leading a team of engineers without formal team lead role
- University degree in electrical engineering or related fields
- Fluent in German and English
