JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary:

This position is responsible to serve as a key member of the RH Sheppard finance and controlling team. The Manager, Finance - Operations is responsible for developing financial analysis capabilities and supporting the Controller with overall accounting processes.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for driving understanding in monthly, quarterly and annual results.
  • Lead annual budgeting process and five year long range planning for the business unit.                                          
  • Responsible for reviewing, analyzing and evaluating business systems and user needs to ensure the financial systems are meeting the objectives of business strategies and reporting requirements. SAP implementation experience preferred.
  • Develop, enhance and maintain operational and ad-hoc reports to satisfy internal and external reporting requirements

 

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) preferred. Also must be able to translate to IFRS.
  • Knowledge of in depth financial planning in various systems.

 

Experience:

  • 5-10 years of experience in accounting/ finance in public accounting or manufacturing
  • Experience in project management and/ or financial management, including managing budgets, preparing estimates at complete and performing variance analysis
  • ERP experience required (SAP preferred)

 

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to Lead and work within a team environment
