Working Student Cybersecurity Management (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS

  • Support cybersecurity activities for the Global Brakes Business Unit, especially in OT & IT security 
  • Contribute to Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) related topics and compliance activities
  • Develop and maintain tools for automation of cybersecurity processes (e.g., penetration testing, vulnerability handling). Willingness to use AI to improve processes
  • Support vulnerability monitoring and integration of results into tools such as JIRA 
  • Assist in the creation, maintenance, and structuring of risk assessments and cybersecurity documentation
  • Support the improvement of incident and issue management processes
  • Assist in project tracking and reporting (e.g., JIRA, KPI tracking, status reporting)
  • Prepare presentations (PowerPoint) for management, workshops, and internal alignments
  • Create and maintain Excel-based reports and dashboards for cybersecurity data analysis (e.g., vulnerabilities, KPIs, CRA status)
  • Support knowledge management activities (e.g., wiki pages, documentation, guidelines)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Currently enrolled student in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Very good English and gut German language skills 
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity (OT/IT is a plus)
  • Initial experience in software development (e.g., Python, JavaScript, APIs, web technologies)
  • Familiarity with AI tools and models
  • Strong skills in MS Excel (e.g., data analysis, pivot tables, reporting)
  • Good skills in MS PowerPoint (structured and clear presentation creation)
  • Structured and independent working style
  • Strong analytical thinking and interest in technical topics 
  • Communication skills
