YOUR TASKS

  • Drive business development and sales for systems for condition monitoring and intelligent maintenance of rail vehicles
  • Identify, develop, and expand market potential in the areas of monitoring, Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), and predictive maintenance
  • Support the RailServices sales organizations in identifying use cases and market opportunities and derive requirements for suitable customer solutions
  • Identify relevant cooperation partners within Knorr-Bremse and in the external market with the goal of establishing a strong partner network to deliver optimal customer solutions
  • Develop business models and support operational sales units during the requirements and proposal phases, including the preparation of documentation, calculation tools, and supporting materials
  • Support and advise customers and users of digital solutions throughout the product lifecycle, with a focus on CBM and maintenance topics, while identifying additional service and upselling opportunities
  • Drive customer activities in close collaboration with local RailServices units

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical field
  • Relevant professional experience within the railway industry, preferably in sales and/or service and maintenance
  • Knowledge of industry-specific maintenance strategies, standards, and technologies is an advantage
  • Proactive and structured working style with the ability to communicate effectively and constructively at all organizational levels
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel globally (approximately 25%)
