YOUR TASKS

  • Design and implement a comprehensive state of the art travel process, including gap analysis of current practices and remediation strategies
  • Analyze existing travel policies to identify discrepancies and opportunities for unification and alignment
  • Evaluate the feasibility of implementing a company-wide tool landscape for travel management and lead the potential implementation
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of the reimbursement process for travel expenses, identifying high and low-performing entities
  • Develop processes, procedures, tools, and performance management measures to optimize and streamline the reimbursement process, with a focus on accelerating employee reimbursements
  • Establish a robust system for monitoring and controlling travel expenses, ensuring alignment with approved budgets
  • Implement mechanisms for pre-approving travel requests and conducting periodic budget variance analysis to identify trends and deviations
  • Analyze harmonization and centralization potential in the context of the overarching Global Business Services initiative


YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field. Master’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in HR and travel projects with a track record of successfully managing global and cross-functional projects
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct comprehensive gap analysis and develop strategic solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis
  • Experience with travel management systems and tools, ideally including knowledge of travel management providers and solutions. Experience with SAP Concur is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel, especially at the beginning of the project
