YOUR TASKS

  • Key contact for customer inquiries and communication towards relevant contacts
  • Development and implementation of customer strategies and execution of strategic actions
  • Coordination of customer project development and quotation process
  • Alignment of product, customer or project specific ideas and methods within KAM teams
  • Organization and usage of CRM and SharePoint for cross-functional collaborations
  • Negotiations of price agreements, customer requirements and contracts acc. to the set goals
  • Coordination of sales and budget planning for certain product fields, especially Engine Air, Dampers, Valves and Electronics
  • Deputy to other Daimler KAM functions and Head of KAM Europe in case of vacation or absence
  • Regular reporting and presentation of assigned product fields (BU/CoC) towards management
  • Reporting to Head of Key Account Management Daimler Europe

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in business administration, mechanical engineering or similar
  • Minimum four years of experience in sales, key account management or business administration
  • Broad technical understanding and ability to explain products and business processes
  • Experiences in the automotive sector beneficial
  • Negotiating skills and assertiveness
  • Business English skills, confident using the language during meetings and calls
  • Pleasure in dealing with customers, colleagues and business partners
  • Intercultural affinity and willingness to travel regularly
