YOUR TASKS
- Lead the design and governance of IT/OT integration, MQTT/UNS architectures, and semantic data models across multiple plants
- Oversee deployments across edge, on‑prem, hybrid, and cloud environments, ensuring consistent lifecycle and runtime standards
- Design end‑to‑end data flows (PLC → Edge → Broker/UNS → Cloud → Applications) and resolve complex cross‑system issues
- Define and maintain technical standards, reference architectures, and implementation guidelines
- Collaborate closely with OT engineers, IT infrastructure/security, SAP teams, and data engineering stakeholders
- Set technical direction for internal stakeholders and external development partners and enforce long-term standards
- Align complex architectural topics with senior stakeholders and support decision‑making in ambiguous technical contexts
- Act as the technical owner of the Smart Factory platform, ensuring scalability and alignment across global rollout scenarios
YOUR PROFILE
- Minimum 7+ years of hands‑on experience in IT/OT integration, IIoT architectures, or industrial systems design
- Deep expertise in MQTT, UNS/Sparkplug, OPC UA, and industrial connectivity (PLC, SCADA, MES, gateways, edge devices)
- Strong understanding of industrial network architectures (VLANs, DMZ, firewalls, segmentation, security zones)
- Proven experience deploying and validating hybrid/cloud architectures (Azure/AWS/GCP) and operational data pipelines
- Experience defining multi‑site standards and ensuring consistent delivery quality across diverse environments
- Ability to support plants in advancing their digital capabilities by providing expert guidance across systems, processes, and organizational needs
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear guidance for non‑technical stakeholders
