MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the commercial and technical lifecycle performance of selected trailer products and digital services
  • Drive product competitiveness through effective management of cost, quality, availability, and product enhancements
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and business growth

YOUR TASKS

  • Own the lifecycle management of trailer products and digital services throughout series production
  • Define and execute product changes, releases, and product improvement initiatives
  • Support the generation of product vision, strategy, and roadmap while exploring innovative business models and growth opportunities for digital services
  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging industry developments to identify opportunities for product differentiation and business growth
  • Own scope prioritization and release planning in alignment with internal and external customers
  • Manage product-related supplier and development partner activities in collaboration with Purchasing and Engineering
  • Monitor and drive improvement of product cost, profitability, and competitiveness throughout the lifecycle
  • Drive product quality improvements and coordinate corrective actions with Quality and Operations teams
  • Lead obsolescence, relocation, and last-time-buy activities to ensure long-term product availability
  • Represent Product Management in development planning and agile delivery processes to ensure timely, high-quality, and specification-compliant product releases

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a comparable discipline
  • Several years of professional experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Product Lifecycle Management, or Project Management within a technical environment
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and stakeholders across Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Operations
  • Knowledge of product change management, product releases, and lifecycle processes
  • Understanding of mechatronic, electronic, software-based, or automotive products
  • Experience working in international and multicultural teams
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with agile development or project management methods is an advantage
  • Fluent English skills
