YOUR TASKS
- Develop and implement Commodity Strategies
- Monitor Performance (Material Price Index, Delivery Reliability and Quality) and implement efficient measures
- Drive cost improvement actions with the suppliers as well as with several Rail Locations
- Ensure the implementation of the Commodity Strategy
- Manage Suppliers: carry out supplier assessments, risk assessment, business review- and negotiation plans, ensure execution of adequate implementation actions
- Transfer KB‘s requirements in the area of Scope3.1 Emission to 3rd party suppliers globally
- Scope3.1: convince, motivate, escalate in the direct contact to suppliers and manage trade-offs between different Purchasing targets
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years working experience in Purchasing Department
- Assertiveness and structured working style
- Fluent English language skill
- Willingness to travel
- Communication skills in cross-functional or international teams
