YOUR TASKS

  • Develop and implement Commodity Strategies
  • Monitor Performance (Material Price Index, Delivery Reliability and Quality) and implement efficient measures
  • Drive cost improvement actions with the suppliers as well as with several Rail Locations
  • Ensure the implementation of the Commodity Strategy
  • Manage Suppliers: carry out supplier assessments, risk assessment, business review- and negotiation plans, ensure execution of adequate implementation actions
  • Transfer KB‘s requirements in the area of Scope3.1 Emission to 3rd party suppliers globally
  • Scope3.1: convince, motivate, escalate in the direct contact to suppliers and manage trade-offs between different Purchasing targets

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 5 years working experience in Purchasing Department
  • Assertiveness and structured working style
  • Fluent English language skill
  • Willingness to travel
  • Communication skills in cross-functional or international teams
