YOUR TASKS:

• Purchasing responsibility for suppliers including price negotiations and long-term agreements in line with KPIs

• Development of Category Strategy together with local and global management

• Creation of the Total Cost Comparison including supplier recommendation

• Preparation and execution of purchasing contracts with suppliers

• Preparation and presentation of decision proposals for the higher management

• Benchmarking to identify saving potentials and derive supplier strategies

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed studies in business or engineering
• Min. 5 years of working experience in strategic purchasing and automotive experience of advantage
• Strong negotiation skills and good knowledge of contract law
• Fluent in English and strong communication skills including experience from cross functional work
• Open and eager personality and willingness to travel (mainly in Europe, minimum 2-3 business trip/month)
• Sound knowledge of MS office applications like Excel and Powerpoint
