JOB DESCRIPTION:

We’re looking for a senior professional purchasing controlling and data analyst who will collaborate with various functions and seek to improve our processes and create efficiencies relative to our indirect purchasing controlling and data analytics.

 

Tasks:

  • Leading successful initiation, definition and execution of projects in the purchasing analytics area (e.g. tool implementation, process definition, etc.).
  • Coordinating and implementing international projects globally across all KB locations in the purchasing area.
  • Reporting and analyzing process weaknesses and recommending business process changes and system solutions as well as supporting with the global implementation.
  • Monitoring and controlling the global purchasing savings pipeline development and reporting on financial status. Analyzing the data and reporting deviations.
  • Aligning savings and purchasing volumes with financial controlling and stakeholders.
  • Defining, aligning and reporting purchasing related KPIs.
  • Improving and further developing data Quality as well as reporting structure.
  • Working collaboratively with key stakeholders in IT, Purchasing, Finance, Operations and Accounts Payable.
  • Providing guidance, training and support to the procurement team and end users on specific analytic tools and processes.
  • Holding responsibility and administration for specific indirect purchasing tools.

 

Requirements:

  • Technical, Math, Data Science or Commercial University degree or comparable qualification.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Consulting work experience preferrable.
  • Experience with the development of processes and associated tools.
  • Experience in Project Management.
  • IT tools and technology affinity.
  • Strong data mining and analysis skill set; ability to solve complex challenges and search for new solutions outside of traditional approaches.
  • Ability to understand complex data structures and build on these to cover reporting needs.
  • Ability to build consensus across multiple organizations and all levels of the enterprise.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial and problem solving oriented mindset.
  • Excellent command of English written and spoken. A second language is of advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of the MS Office package with focus on MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Knowledgeable with regards to new e-procurement, analytic and data visualization tools (e.g. SAP Ariba, Celonis, Power BI).
