KB has in Europe 8 Production locations. Main tasks of the production / operations controlling:
Actuals:
- Analyze the monthly cost picture based on GMR (SAP based BI tool)
- Define the comparison base (target) against actual values
- Hold one meeting per month with each production location
- Understand the monthly cost picture based on discussions
- Report the monthly cost versus Budget / Target
Budget:
- Process owner of the target setting process = top-down budget process
- Define productivity target together with Central SCM and Central IE
- Drive own production sales process
- Calculate mix and volume impacts for a proper projection
Other:
- Be the business partner of central Industrial Engineering
- Be the partner and challenger of the plants at the same time
- Participate in the “plant scorecard meeting” held by central industrial engineering each month and review and explain the plant performance to disciplines other than finance
- Understanding and monitoring of new projects and relocation activities
- Monitor productivity targets of plants in the “Strong Focus” tool
Requirements:
- Education: Financial / Technical studies at university
- Work Experience: Several years of experience in operations controlling - ideally the candidate has worked in a production plant and has deep understanding of finance in production plants
- Knowledge of flex rates, fixed and variable cost, standard costing, production minutes, direct / indirect labor, vacation accruals, warehousing, production, maintenance, quality
- Languages: English - daily communication
- Personality: Person needs to be able to talk and discuss with plant management regarding all financial topics and be self-confident
