Global Process Responsible - Accounts Payable

Your Tasks: 

  • Develop and implement AP policies, procedures and controls to ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements​ 

  • Establish and maintain globally harmonized Accounting processes and approval of country-specific deviations with a focus on EMEA ​ 

  • Define KPIs for quality, efficiency, and compliance in each process. Set performance targets for Accounting operations across the finance and GBS organization 

  • Define, monitor and report on key AP performance metrics to identify areas of process weaknesses and opportunities to improve operational efficiency 

  • Collaboration with other functions (e.g. Procurement, IT, Internal Audit) along the end-to-end process Source to Pay in order to drive operational efficiency and continuous process improvements through process automation (incl. automated invoice processing) and process mining. 

  • Project lead from Business for the implementatoin of process automation solutions 

  • Support in projects for the migration of activities into the Shared Service Organization 

Your Profile: 

  • Degree (MBA preferred) in Business Studies with majors in Finance, Accounting or Controlling 

  • At least 8 years of professional experience in Finance and Accounting functions, with a deep understanding of Accounting and business processes​ 

  • Experienced SAP Knowledge in FI-module, advanced SAP-Knowledge in MM and CO-module 

  • Strong interest in the development of system based solutions using artificial intelligence and Robotics (experience is highly appreciated) 

  • Excellent project management skills and ability of setting priorities in complex environment​ with international cultures & various time zones 

  • Deep knowledge of Accounting processes, regional differences and leading practices ​ 

  • Solid understanding of internal controls, risk management, and compliance requirements 

  • Thinks analytically, can breakdown complex issues and understand the impact​ 

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to proficiently convey concepts to management, cross-functional teams and stakeholders 

  • Business fluent in English, German is advantage
