Responsible for driving global Cost Recovery by identifying and quantifying financially recoverable cost impacts, developing standardized recovery methodologies and target-setting approaches, and providing the transparency, governance and performance management required to maximize recovery realization across regions, customers and functions.
YOUR TASKS
- Identify, quantify and assess the financial impact of market-driven cost increases, customer-driven impacts, extraordinary expenses and other recoverable cost elements across the organization, in collaboration with the relevant functions responsible for the underlying cost drivers.
- Develop and maintain standardized, transparent and auditable Cost Recovery methodologies and calculation models to ensure the consistent identification, quantification and allocation of recoverable cost impacts across all regions and business units.
- Define KPIs, reporting standards, data structures and system requirements to measure Cost Recovery performance, create transparency on cost exposure, recovery potential, realized recoveries, recovery gaps, timing effects and related P&L impacts, and support management decision-making.
- Develop and coordinate the global Cost Recovery planning and target-setting process.
- Own and coordinate global Surcharge Management, including the development and maintenance of the global Surcharge Guideline, and ensure its consistent integration into Cost Recovery methodologies, planning, reporting and performance management, as well as alignment between Purchasing, Sales and Finance across all regions and business units.
- Act as Business Partner for Sales, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management and other relevant functions.
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling or a comparable qualification.
- Relevant professional experience in Controlling or Finance.
- Strong understanding of P&L structures, cost drivers and financial performance management.
- Experience in developing financial methodologies, calculation models and performance management frameworks, preferably in an international manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment.
- Very good SAP and Microsoft Office skills.
