EU Senior Controller

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting European subsidiaries with all financial and commercial matters and analyzing their business development
  • Reviewing and validating budgets, forecasts, and ongoing outlooks for the respective subsidiaries
  • Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
  • Ensuring continuous alignment with Business Unit Controlling and Project Controlling
  • Actively contributing to the development of controlling tools, processes, and reporting instruments
  • Conducting economic efficiency analyses
  • Preparing presentations and management reviews, including leading review sessions

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Controlling, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent qualification
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Controlling or consulting, ideally in corporate controlling within an internationally operating industrial corporation
  • Strong knowledge of relevant IFRS accounting standards
  • Proficient in financial metrics, including cost and profit accounting, working capital, and cash flow statements
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP BPC and SEM BCS is an advantage
  • Excellent proficiency in English, German is nice to have
  • Independent and analytical working style with confident demeanor
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, along with a high affinity for numbers and IT
