Business Process & Application Consultant SAP WM

Daily tasks:

  • Perform the service operations and transition. Support in service design in the Standardization and optimization of business processes supporting Knorr Bremse’s global Supply Chain Management operations.
      • Sub-project management for medium-sized projects, project management and solution design responsibility for small projects.
      • Support in the recording, evaluation, and implementation of work packages in demand Management.
      • Implementation of the 2nd level support and support in the 3rd level incident management in the assigned functional area in compliance with the defined SLAs
      • Functional specification and implementation of change requests and execution of software Release upgrades and creation of technical system documentation
      • Frequent implementation of business requirements related to existing business processes and methods.
      • Consulting business process managers on the further development, harmonization and use of IT solutions and data in the assigned functional area
  • Integration into global WM team-structure
  • Close cooperation with various IT cross-modular-applications. (MM/QM/PP/SD)
  • Support business key-user organization

Expected skills set:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP WM
  • English for daily usage on proficient level C1 (C2 desirable)
  • Basic overall cross functional application knowledge in logistic modules. (e.g. MM/ QM/PP/SD)
  • Intermediate skill level with non SAP interfaces to automated warehouse solutions (e.g. Lifter-systems) 
  • Experience in SAP ABAP debugging is an advantage
  • Experience with IT Ticketing System “Service Now” desirable
  • Business process knowledge with in Supply Chain Management
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal and intercultural sensitivity
  • Ability to work amicably with fellow employees in all kind of situations and with empathy
  • Positive attitude and initiative to work in an international and virtual environment
  • Ability to travel
