JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for working closely with Global SAP Quality Management organizations. As a core member of Global SAP IT QM team, responsibilities will include planning activities, providing work estimates, developing functional design specifications, configuring SAP QM modules, testing, training, and developing documentation.
Essential Functions:
- Provide analysis and support for IT projects relative to quality management
These projects could include configuration of quality management areas such as quality planning, test & measuring equipment, notification handling, and quality inspection.
- Provide support of SAP QM module including support and testing of incidents, continuous improvements, rollouts, releases, enhancement packages, and upgrades while following Global CAB processes.
- Develop functional specifications for ABAP programs.
- Interface with business users and analyze business processes and specify/configure application to efficiently support those needs.
- Support the training and knowledge management of the key user organization.
- Provide 2nd level support of Incidents in compliance with defined SLA’s
- Participate in defining and integrating with other ERP modules including FI, WM, SD, MM, and PP.
Knowledge:
- Quality Management business process and system knowledge. Ability to recognize problems and implement solutions.
- Knowledge of quality management concepts and transactions, particularly within the automotive and rail industries.
- Basic Knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (ex. FI, WM, MM, SD, PP)
Required experience, skills and education:
- Minimum 1 year SAP QM experience including experience configuring SAP QM or experience in other related SAP logistics module or process stream
- Experience in full-cycle implementation of SAP
- Basic cross-functional SAP knowledge in logistics modules
- Experience in S/4 Hana a plus.
- Experience with IT Ticketing system “ServiceNow” desirable
- Extremely customer focused with a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong interpersonal skills to successfully team with software vendors, outsourcing partners and KB regional & global business and IT associates.
- Excellent communication skills: presentation, written, oral.
- Self-starter with perseverance and the creativity to overcome obstacles to achieve project objectives.
- Must be able to perform as an effective member in a global, team-oriented environment, maintain a positive attitude, and achieve desired results while working with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other related discipline.
- English for daily usage on proficient level B2 (C1 desirable)
Position Requirements:
- This position requires approximately 20% travel annually, both domestic and international.
