JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP Ariba Consultant to join our global team, focusing implementation of SAP Ariba for indirect purchasing & on the improvement of Ariba processes globally. This role is critical to the successful rollout of SAP Ariba, ensuring seamless integration, process optimization, and ongoing support for interfaces. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience as an SAP Ariba Consultant, a good understanding of Ariba system and confident project management skills. Business travel, including trips to Germany Headquaters of Knorr-Bremse in Munich, may be required.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in the implementation of SAP Ariba for indirect purchasing across multiple locations.
  • Participate in roll-outs and provide expertise to ensure successful adoption of SAP Ariba.
  • Take a responsible role in technical design for the standardization and optimization of business processes using SAP Ariba for indirect purchasing.
  • Support interfaces to ensure smooth integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Support software release upgrades and consult business on changes to ensure system integrity and compliance.
  • Lead sub-project management for medium-sized projects
  • Take full project management and solution design responsibility for small projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors across multiple countries.
  • Provide expertise in troubleshooting, resolving issues, and optimizing SAP Ariba processes.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Programming, Economics, Science, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience as an SAP Ariba Consultant.
  • General knowledge of SAP systems and their integration with Ariba.
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage sub-projects and small projects independently.
  • Experience change request implementation, with interaction of SAP.
  • Proficiency in managing software release upgrades and creating technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global team environment.
  • Certification in SAP Ariba or related modules is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel for business outside of Czechia.
