Accounting Support Specialist

Job Description:

  • Support project execution through an operational excellence agenda
  • Manage projects focused on Accounting process improvement and proactively seek opportunities for process efficiency and higher performance
  • Collaborate with purchase to pay operations to analyze processes, define improvement opportunities, and proactively support implementation of corrective actions and solutions
  • Collaborate process improvement programs and measurement and performance programs to track and take corrective actions related to budget, schedule, scope, and quality
  • Support in building a data and process driven organization
  • Support continuous improvement activities
  • Participate in/lead special projects as needed (implementation of new systems - VIM, NEO, etc.)
  • Mentor six sigma and lean projects for your sphere of influence
  • Support quality/scope/risk and resource management
  • Key role in joint review meetings with Accounting department and/or BPR management
  • Identify opportunities to expand services provided under the current contract
  • Active support of the Operations "POC" community
  • Stakeholder management
  • Creation of process documentation and guidelines

 

Required:

  • Secondary, higher vocational or university education
  • Knowledge of operational excellence principles / Lean Six Sigma is advantage
  • English B1+ (verbal and written)
  • Work experience in the field of process analysis and techniques process improvement
  • Work experience in accounting/purchasing/IT department is an advantage
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, specifically MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
  • Ability to solve risks/problems and prepare a mitigation plan
  • Proactive approach and customer orientation
