AR Accountant

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Manage all tasks within the Account Receivable (A/R) process according to GAAP and IFRS standards
• Handle daily booking operations with precision and accuracy
• Process bank statements for various locations, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts
• Collaborate closely with A/R vendors to ensure proper authorization and data accuracy
• Serve as the first point of contact for suppliers and vendors regarding disputed account discrepancies
• Report and escalate any discrepancies as necessary
• Complete month-end accounts receivable tasks and prepare monthly account reconciliations
• Identify and implement innovative improvements in the A/R process.

Qualifications

• High school or university degree, preferably in Economics
• At least 1 year of professional accounting experience
• Understanding of the A/R process is a plus
• Professional communication skills
• Detail-oriented and responsible work ethic
• Experience working with cross-cultural teams is an advantage
• Conversational English is required; additional foreign languages are a plus
• MS Excel, experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
