JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Summary:
This role will focus on the implementation, and communication of customized business solutions to enhance organizational effectiveness and forge strong partnerships with the operation of Mexico Facilities. Partner with the People Development team to develop, install, and customize training and developmental strategies and services to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
Essential Functions:
- Designs and implements local learning and development programs for employees and managers in partnership with People Development team including action planning and execution.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of learning and developing initiatives and activities. Provides improvement recommendations to drive employee accomplishments and performance.
- Responsible for the analysis of internal and external training/learning trends to support the development and execution of the people development strategy improvements.
- Responsible to under the engagement of the manufacturing groups and partner with People Development team to design interventions to improve organizational effectiveness and capability.
- Drive the overall leadership development strategy and goals in order to support the current business objectives, needs and the company’s 3–5-year strategic plan. In addition, update and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) in order to measure and improve effectiveness
- Support and advise the plant leadership group in succession planning processes following corporate guidelines
- Understand the losses of the business through human error, and can explain the justification through benefit cost analysis
- Develop a system for collecting information on losses due to human error whether related to quality, safety, or operations
- Accountable for owning the People Development System and utilizing specific learning tools
- Support PSA Activities and procedures with team members
- Perform all those activities that by the nature of the position are required.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge in organizational change management (OCM) and World Class Manufacturing (WCM).
- Proven experience in core HR management fundamentals
- Know how to think strategically, understand business plans, goals, and to relate to those plans in developing HR initiatives and objectives
- Experience in information gathering, and building data collection systems, interventions (in-depth interviews, surveys, focus groups, etc.) to determine organizational issues and needs
- Organizational Development & Design, Change Management and Project Management experience and skills
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with organizational change management tools and process implementations, management, and improvement required in manufacturing environments
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resources Generalist function or similar position
- Experience with Agile Transformation a plus
- Proven ability to administer and debrief individual and team assessment instruments
- Experience in building organizational team and individual capabilities through needs analysis, strategic organizational development interventions
- Experience to effectively identify losses, collect data, create data collection systems and design and facilitate results-orientation interventions to improve performance and support business goals
- Proven experience in broad organizational communication/training
- Experience with Learning Management Software (catalogs, course setup, reporting etc.), SAP HR, SilkRoad, Lumesse (or other performance management systems), and/or SAP SuccessFactors suite, strongly desired
- Experience in organizational development tools, such as personality indicators, 360 feedback tools, career assessment and coaching
- Experience with WCM a plus
- Instructional Design experience

- Demonstrated ability to learn a lot quickly in a short amount of time
- PC and Microsoft Office suite expertise required
- Fully Bilingual (English / Spanish).
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resource Management, or related field required.
- Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior or Human Resource Management preferred
- Certified in train the trainer with the ability to certify others
- Certified in process improvement tools such as Lean Six Sigma and/or project management certification preferred
