Purchasing Specialist 

LOCATION: Krakow / Poland | COMPANY: Knorr-Bremse Systemy Pojazdów Szynowych Sp. z o.o. |  DEPARTMENT: R/PUL Purchasing | ON-SITE/REMOTE: Hybrid

Your responsibilities:

  • drive Digitalization Initiative / Projects and implement our digital tools in operative purchasing processes,

  • regular reporting of operative / tactical processes. Further development of reporting tools and dashboards,
  • run KPI improvement programs (Inventory Reduction, Leadtime Reduction, Delivery Performance Improvement, Automation Rate),
  • support European Production Relocation projects in cross functional Project teams,
  • involvement in the definition and responsibility for the implementation of standard processes / SAP Best practices,
  • steering and controlling of material planning,
  • supply models and master data management,
  • price negotiations for small and medium volumes in alignment with the responsible buyers

Our requirements:

  • experience in working in a similar position (Purchasing or Logistic Department),
  • language skills: English min. B2 level,
  • ERP system: Knowledge of SAP MM,
  • knowledge of IT tools, data management and analytics,
  • knowledge in Logistics and Supply Chain processes,
  • ability to work under pressure,
  • experience in Project Management will be an advantage
