Contract & Claims Specialist (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities:
- supporting the company in defending against unjustified claims (for example: financial compensation, contractual remedies, penalties, liquidated damages, or cost reimbursement arising from contractual deviations),
- assisting in dispute resolution processes, including negotiation, mediation, or arbitration,
- preparing clear documentation and recommendations related to contracts, claims, and risks,
- reviewing and analyzing commercial contracts, supporting changes to contract terms when needed,
- monitoring contractual obligations during project execution,
- identifying risks related to penalties, warranties, indemnities, performance guarantees, and liability topics,
- identifying potential claims and preparing supporting arguments.
Requirements:
- university degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, International Business or another relevant field,
- experience in contract management, procurement, project legal, claim management roles (preferably in industrial sectors),
- familiarity with working in a project-based environment and collaborating with cross-functional team,
- excellent communication skills in English,
- analytical mindset and attention to details.
Optional:
- familiarity with commercial law,
- ability to communicate effectively in German in a business environment,
- practical experience or interest with AI tools (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, data analysis or automation tools).
