Job Title: Systems Engineer 4


Job Location:  5201 Regent Blvd, Suite #130, Irving, TX 75063


Job Duties:  Develop algorithms for energy management and train control systems, test the algorithms and prove the benefit using statistics, modeling, and historical data; prepare technical proposals including clause-by-clause comments to customer specifications; prepare systems documentation including requirement specifications, system diagrams, etc.; define commissioning tests; perform functional and software validation testing; write industry papers and speak at conferences, trade shows, etc.; develop interface control documents; perform system-level Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA); develop Verification and Validation Test Procedure; make technical presentations to customers in support of sales; lead the creation of project schedules and budgets; design complex control  systems to satisfy customer and/or strategic development requirements; troubleshoot complex system problems and identify root cause / corrective actions; provide input to strategic development planning; and provide mentorship and technical leadership to functional design team.


Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s in Systems or Computer Engineering (or related) and five years of experience as Systems, Loads, or Simulation Engineer (or related) OR Master’s in Systems or Computer Engineering (or related) and three years of experience.


Special Skills: Must have experience with dynamic systems modeling and validation, especially related to wheeled vehicles; control system design and implementation; software debugging; divergent data synthesis and analysis; providing review and feedback to the development teams of customer/operator system interaction to ensure requirements are met.
