Internships have a lasting impact on our team at New York Air Brake! The summer internship program for students in their Junior or Senior year of study provides the opportunity to make big contributions that help us deliver advanced freight rail braking solutions now and in the future. You can expect challenging work and an insider’s view into your future profession. You will work as an individual and as part of a project team, while receiving regular feedback in preparation for a final presentation to company leaders.

Our internships start Mid-May and end Mid- August. This position is a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities will be focused in one or more of the following areas:

• Perform testing on complex integrated & networked systems.
• Configure test setups and control stands.
• Write test cases based on functional requirements.
• Utilize automated testing to quickly and efficiently collect test data for development teams.
• Write test reports.

Required Skills:

Education:

Degree: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology

Note: The anticipated wage scale for candidates who will work in Irving, TX or remote is $16.00 to $25.00/per hour. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will depend on their class year/status.
