JOB DESCRIPTION:
Internships have a lasting impact are our team at New York Air Brake! The co-op program for students in their Junior or Senior year of study provides the opportunity to make big contributions that help us deliver advanced freight rail solutions now and in the future. This is your opportunity to make a big impact on improving the quality of how the latest generation of locomotive and freight car braking systems are manufactured. You can expect challenging work and an insiders view into your future profession. You will work as an individual and as part of a project team, while receiving regular feedback in preparation for a final presentation to company leaders.
Our internships start Mid-May and end Mid-August, and are a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities will be focused in one or more of the following areas:
- Perform testing on complex integrated & networked systems.
- Configure test setups and control stands.
- Write test cases based on functional requirements.
- Utilize automated testing to quickly and efficiently collect test data for development teams.
- Write test reports.
Required Skills:

Education:
Degree: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology
Note: The anticipated wage scale for candidates who will work in Irving, TX or remote is $16.00 to $25.00/per hour. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will depend on their class year/status.
